 German 90s-influenced skatepunk with plenty of metallic shredding and even some ska/reggae flavour worked in... well, yearn no longer.

Munich, Germany based skate punk combined retro 90's punk with a progressive trashy/reggae rock sound! Pedal-to-the-floor tempo, high-pitched clean vocals, tight percussion, and intricate fretwork. That description applies almost verbatim to bands like MUTE, Satanic Surfers, Atlas Losing Grip, Belvedere, and many others, whose influence Heathcliff wear very visibly (and likely, proudly) on their collective sleeves.
