Chicago based punk rock band Counterpunch formed in 2004. Their new album "Bruises" saw the light on July 24, 2014 that blends the sound of 90’s melodic skatepunk with modern Rise Against style angst, and showcases the bands penchant for three-part harmonies and anthemic choruses

- Heroes & Ghosts (released on 11th October 2010)

 It was released internationally in late 2010 titled "Heroes & Ghosts" on Radtone Records (Japan), Disconnect Disconnect Records(UK), Funtime Records (Belgium), No Reason Records (Italy), and Fond of Life Records (Germany). It would later be released by Go Kart Records domestically in the spring of 2011 with alternate artwork by Derek Deal under the title "Dying to Exonerate the World".
