Anchors started out in the middle of 2008.

Combining manic guitar work and vocals that are equal parts harsh and nostalgic, ANCHORS deliver a ballsy, steadfast sound reminiscent of A Wilhelm Scream, Strung Out and Propagandhi. While the band‘s sound is undeniably comparable to the 90’s era Fat/Epitaph wave of melodic and technical punk, the Australian quintet manages to fuse elements of hardcore and metal into their unrelenting assault of blazing fast punk-rock to create something truly refreshing and unique.
