Bio:
In November 0f 1998,bass player and singer Angelo, drummer Jamie, and guitar player Matt, 3 bored kids from the North shore of Montreal, started a punk band. Under the influence of Green Day, MxPx, Blink 182, and most Lookout! Records bands, they started practicing in Angelo's basement. As that lineup, they recorded one 6 song demo/e.p. titled "As Seen On TV". As the months went by, Matt Mastro joined the band on bass, adding a somewhat heavier influence on the group and making Angelo the new guitarist. After 4 months of practicing, they returned to the studio to record yet another demo/e.p. to sell at their shows. They called this second creation "To:Jenna" because of their song Jenna about infamous porn queen Jenna Jameson. Soon after the recording, Eric Chouinard was added to the trio on left guitar, making Big Link a four piece. Things started picking up for the band and they were offered alot more shows. Soon enough Eric was gone.
After all of that they finally decided to get the band going full time and recorded a full length album titled "Majobitos" which was released on March 10,2000. This first album includes 5 of the songs from "To:Jenna". The album also has an Operation Ivy cover and many other surprises. It was produced by Scott Phinney of the Montreal punk band Men"O"Steel and Marco Labelle from the deceased Montreal punk band My Big Wheel.
