Bio:
Pop punk band from the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio area. They formed in 1997 in Union, Kentucky by Matt Hornsby (drums), Corey Barhorst (bass), and Patrick Brown(guitar and vocals).
Scallywagon recorded first demo in 1997 one week after Scallywagon formed. Their first full length album was Hopscotch (1997) released under Whitehouse Records. In the same year they appeared on "Punk at 1600" compilation with My World song. This compilation had only 1000 copies pressed. The next year came their EP All We Can Afford Is A Smile under the same label. In 2000 Scallywagon recorded 8 song demo 2 months after Frank joined. 4 songs from this were put on Putting Two and Two Together which was recorded in 2001 and released (DIY) in 2002. The last Scallywagon release was Journey Fueled By Ambition (2004) released under Broken Line Records.
Great melodic punk/ pop punk mixing fast beats with catchy pop punk melodies.
