Bio:
Started out in 1999 with the original line up slab, ed, tomax and dave. They released their first ep in 2000 which was a split with My Dad Joe with new guys castle and alex. They then released P.T.D. their 2nd ep in 2001. Three songs(Fair Government, We're Never Gonna Headline and Substance) were taken from split with My Dad Joe. After some small tours they got signed to 20 deck records and released their first full length, Prime Sinister in 2003 which received good review:

"In my mind, this is a definite improvement from their two previous releases ('P.T.D.' and a split with My Dad Joe). It has a lot more variety from song to song, like the brilliant guitar solo in 'Same Shit, Different Day'. The stand-out tracks are opener 'The Art of Saying What You Mean' and the following track 'I've Decided'. Both tracks show what Reason 69 are all about, brimming with energy and power.
This is one of the better British releases I've seen recently. Although it is not terribly original, influences like NOFX are quite obvious, it is a quality album and unmistakeably British"

After touring with bands Phinius Gage and Mouthwash Castle and Alex left and Ben joined for a bit. After 20 Deck were forced to an end, the band continued on, creating a record label, No Totem Records, to help out their friends' bands. Recently, Reason 69 recorded three more songs for a demo. In 2009 Reason 69 released new EP The Poker Face with 6 new previously unreleased tracks.
