Stevenson, who currently lives in Fort Collins, Colo., said the Descendents have started recording new material for an album he would like to have out by this time next year. And in their tried and true Descendents fashion, there is no real “direction” the band is aiming for, he said.
“We don’t plan things out that way,” Stevenson said. “We’re four songwriters. Everybody brings in their best songs. We play them in such a way that excites us and that’s the way you have it.”
