Doughnut Overcook

Doughnut Overcook got together for the first time in July -95. They all knew each other and had played together in various bands like X-Reagan and others, but this was the first time the four of them were playing together. In August the same year they played live for the first time and in September recorded a couple of songs for their first demo. However, the songs weren´t released because of laziness or financial problems, or maybe both. In May -96 they got back in the studio again and this time it resulted in a demo including some of the songs they recorded in -95. Then Ricke went to England for a year so the band was more or less down until spring -97. Around the same time that Ricke came back Doughnut Overcook contributed to a CD compilation called "Tomorrow Belongs To Us" released by a swedish fanzine called Jive. That summer they played quite a lot, a couple of festivals among other things....During the winter and spring they wrote a lot of new songs and in June -98 guys decided it was time for a second demo. The recordings were made at Berghem studio and were by far the best they´ve done so far. The winter that followed was pretty slow for them. Doughnut Overcook played a couple of shows but nothing really exciting. Then in May -99 they got back in the studio recording eight new songs that they think turned out really well. Nothing from that recording has been released then.

I didn't  find any infos about their LP called Fucked up good & left alone but I think it was released offcialy in the end of Doughnut Overcook carrier.

The band quit around march 2002 for several reasons. Mostly because they moved to different areas of the country.
