Bio:
Good Reason is a four piece punk rock band hailing from Bratislava, Slovak Republic. Influenced by fast melodic punk rock like Nofx, Good Riddance, Bad Religion and a little of progressive stuff like Belvedere/This Is A Standoff, Strung Out, started their journey on 23rd march 2002. After a few demos, an EP and a split CD with a Hong Kong hardcore band King Ly Chee, they recorded their first album called Age Of Reason (2008).

Total nightmare. Our first full lenght, 13 songs, took us 4 months and each of us at least 5 years of life. We recorded it in our friend´s rehearsal room which is kinda more a studio than a rehearsal place. We spent an awfully long time with this record, drum parts, guitars took forever and vocals even longer. Not to mention the mixing of this record. During mixing, something went wrong and the bass guitar sounds fucking awful, much more like there is none. But I think this is our first good record, though.

Good Reason’s latest EP The Simplicity Of Condoning A Frump was released on April 20, 2009. It contains 6 tracks of fast melodic punk rock with fast beat, vocals, singalongs and octave chords.

Finally a record, everyone in the band is satisfied with! We booked ourselves a studio and made the whole record all by ourselves. Produced by Mr. Steve. Mixed and mastered in 2 different places. And the result is finally a lot closer to our dream sound.
